Ella first came to prominence as group head of the Mail on Sunday before being promoted to head of magazines at the Daily Mail Group. In 2010 she moved to Bauer to publish Grazia during a period of significant growth before being headhunted to join Hearst UK, where she published brands including Cosmopolitan, Red and Esquire. In 2014, Ella became group commercial director of Hearst UK, responsible for all commercial revenues for print and digital and developing new revenue streams across events, commercial content, contract publishing and licensing. Ella was then appointed to the position of CEO at Shortlist Media in September 2016, with a clear brief to deliver growth through new opportunities. Ella recently undertook a major business transformation, pivoting the business to The Stylist Group, focusing entirely on women at a time when feminism and the united force of women has never been more relevant. A board member of CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) and a member of WACL, Ella is passionate about pushing for gender equality in the UK.
